Start with the size of microphone you want. Then choose how it will be worn, the boom length or placement, its color, and the connection for your wireless transmitter.
Step One
Both Bodymics series are designed for theatre. The primary difference is the physical size of the microphone capsule housing.
Broadway is our near-invisible microphone series and a strong starting point for most productions.
It offers a discreet theatrical profile while remaining practical for schools, community theatres, regional theatres, rental inventories, and professional productions.
Choose Broadway when: you want a small, professional theatre microphone for regular production use.
Drury Lane takes microphone concealment a step further with an ultra-miniature, grain-of-rice-size housing.
It is ideal for close audience sightlines, professional productions, intimate venues, wig and hairline placement, and any situation where microphone visibility is particularly important.
Choose Drury Lane when: the smallest possible microphone profile is the priority.
Start with Broadway. Move to Drury Lane when your production calls for an even smaller, more discreet microphone.
Step Two
Next, decide how the performer will wear the microphone.
A single-ear design places the microphone close to the mouth while keeping the performer's face largely unobstructed.
Great for: dialogue, musicals, general theatre, youth performers, and productions where a discreet cheek-mounted microphone is desired.

A dual-ear headset provides additional stability and helps maintain consistent microphone placement as a performer moves.

The most flexible format. Clip it to clothing, mount it in a wig, position it at the hairline, or create another theatrical rig.

Earset boom length changes where the microphone sits relative to the performer's mouth. Bodymics offers several lengths so a single design does not have to fit every performer.

Step Four
Bodymics are available in cream, brown, and black. The best choice depends on the performer, their hair, their costume, and how the microphone will be placed.
A common choice for lighter skin tones and many traditional cheek or hairline placements.
A useful option for darker skin tones, brown hair, wigs, and production designs where cream is too visible.
Ideal against dark hair, black costumes, headwear, or productions where the microphone is intentionally treated as technical equipment.
Step Five
Bodymics manufactures the microphone element worn by the performer. That microphone then plugs into your wireless transmitter pack. The connector you order must match the transmitter you own.
