AKG Headset Bodymics Microphone

Lightweight, secure, and made for live performance.

The Bodymics AKG Headset Microphone gives performers the stability of a dual-ear headset while remaining lightweight, discreet, and comfortable enough for extended rehearsals and performances.

Designed for theatre, live performance, presentations, worship, and other professional applications, the omnidirectional microphone provides clear, natural vocal reproduction with a flat 50Hz–15kHz frequency response.

Its secure dual-ear design makes it an excellent choice for performers who move extensively on stage or simply prefer the additional stability of a headset microphone.

Comfortable enough for the entire performance.

Padded earhooks provide a comfortable, secure fit without placing unnecessary pressure on the performer.

The adjustable microphone boom allows the capsule position to be customized for each performer, helping achieve consistent placement and reliable sound from one production to the next.

Add strain relief for heavy use. $10 per mic.

Bodyworn microphones live a difficult life. Cables are pulled, twisted, taped, routed through costumes and worn through every rehearsal and performance.

Add Bodymics strain relief and we reinforce the cable transition on your headset before it ships, protecting one of the most vulnerable points of a bodyworn microphone.

Recommended for student casts, dance-heavy shows and mics shared across productions. Select Add strain relief (+$10 per mic) above Add to cart.

Choose your headset style.

Bodymics Headsets are available in two configurations:

• Standard Headset
A fixed neckband with vertical padded earhooks. Simple, lightweight, secure, and ideal for everyday theatrical use.

• Fold-Flat Headset
An adjustable-width neckband with fold-flat earhooks. The adjustable design accommodates a wider range of performers, while the folding earhooks make the microphone especially convenient for storage, transportation, touring, and repertory applications.

Both options provide the secure dual-ear fit expected from a professional headset microphone.

Choose your capsule.

Select between:

• 3mm Capsule — an ultra-discreet option designed to disappear as much as possible on stage.

• 4mm Capsule — slightly larger while remaining discreet and ideal for general-purpose live performance.

Both are available in Beige, Brown, or Black.

Built for performers.

The microphone's omnidirectional pickup pattern provides consistent sound as performers move naturally on stage.

Its construction is engineered for ultra-low handling noise, helping reduce unwanted sound caused by cable contact or movement. The sealed capsule is sweat and water resistant, helping it stand up to demanding rehearsals and performances.

• Frequency Response: 50Hz–15kHz ±3dB
• Maximum SPL before distortion: 125dB
• Pickup Pattern: Omnidirectional
• Strain Relief: Optional, $10 per mic

The result is a professional headset microphone designed specifically for productions that need dependable performance, comfortable fit, and greater durability without the premium price associated with many traditional name-brand theatrical microphones.

Compatible with AKG wireless systems when ordered with the appropriate AKG connector.
