No. The Stage Gear Annual Maintenance Plan is Stage Gear's own service plan. It is not a manufacturer warranty and does not change or extend the manufacturer's warranty. Equipment warranty coverage is provided by the manufacturer under its own terms.
How much does it cost?
1 week per year: $995; 2 weeks per year: $1,495; 4 weeks per year: $1,995. Prices are per projector, per year, for any projector model. Covering three or more projectors? Request a quote.
Which model will I get?
We send the closest model we have in inventory, as close to your model as possible. It may be a different model. We focus on shipping a replacement as fast as we can from what we have in stock, because the goal is getting the show up and running.
Is my lens covered?
No. The plan covers the projector only; lenses are not covered. The replacement we send is a projector that works with your lens, so you move your lens over from your own projector.
What if the repair takes longer than my covered weeks?
Additional weeks are at 50% of the rental rate, up to 8 weeks in total per repair (including your covered weeks). Beyond 8 weeks isn't covered by the plan. Call us and we'll talk through your options.
Do I need anything else to get the plan?
Yes. The plan requires the 5-year extended manufacturer warranty. See the Epson® Preferred Plus Extended Service Plans for Pro Series Projectors, or ask us to include it on your quote.
Who actually repairs the projector?
The manufacturer. Stage Gear does not perform manufacturer warranty repairs; covered repairs are completed by the manufacturer. With the plan, we manage the warranty claim and the return-for-repair process for you.
