What happens when a bodypack fails?

Is this a warranty?
No. ShowCare for Wireless is Stage Gear's own service plan. It is not insurance or a manufacturer warranty, and it doesn't change or extend any warranty. Warranties decide whether a part is repaired; ShowCare gives you a loaner while it is.
How much does it cost?
8 channels: $395; 16 channels: $595; 24 channels: $795. Prices are per system, per year. Covering more than one system? Request a quote.

Is my system eligible?
ShowCare for Wireless covers Creative Audio, Shure and Sennheiser systems, in all frequency bands we sell. We keep loaners for all of them in our rental stock. We confirm your system details (platform, models and frequency band) before your first loaner ships, so every loaner matches. Another brand? Request a quote.
What's covered?
Bodypack transmitters, receivers, antenna distribution and powered antennas. If one fails, we ship a loaner from our rental stock, matched to your platform and frequency band.
Are microphones covered?
No. Microphones (including Bodymics), mic elements, batteries, windscreens, cables, chargers, consumables and accessories are never covered. Plan holders get 15% off Bodymics, Creative Audio microphones and mic elements, batteries and windscreens (Shure and Sennheiser products excluded) during the plan year.
How do I use my 15% discount?
How long can I keep the loaner?
4 weeks (1 month) per repair at no cost. If the repair runs longer, weeks 5 to 8 are 50% of the rental rate, up to 8 weeks in total per repair.
Why 4 weeks?
Wireless repairs take time. Stage Gear warranty claims are typically processed within about 30 business days after inspection and approval, and manufacturer repair times are set by the manufacturer.
How many loaners can I have at once?
Up to 2, 4 or 6 parts at once for a 8, 16 or 24-channel plan. When a loaner comes back, that spot opens up again.
Who repairs the part?
Creative Audio parts are repaired through Stage Gear's 1-year warranty, or our Flat-Rate Service in years 2 to 5 (a flat fee based on the part's age). For Shure and Sennheiser, we coordinate the manufacturer warranty claim with you as a plan benefit, and the manufacturer's warranty decides what's covered.
How long does the plan last?
12 months. It doesn't renew automatically. Plan benefits apply according to the ShowCare for Wireless Terms.
